Arctic Air May Return in January, Meteorologist Says

Now that the Chicago area is basking in !2 ℉ weather after the mercury plunged to -16℉ on Monday, we may all feel a little safer and more comfortable.

However, there's no guarantee that extreme cold, and even the polar vortex, the air mass which shifted here temporarily from the Arctic, won't return.
