Hairbrush or knife?

A 78-year-old man who lives in an assisted living facility in the 7000 block of Newark reported Aug. 11 just before 11 a.m. that another resident, a 68-year-old man, had threatened him with a knife while he was in the elevator. Police interviewed the offender, who said he had brandished a hairbrush, not a knife. Police filed a report.
