Relatives Found Dead in Morton Grove Home Died of Natural Causes

Death investigation reveals foul play not suspected in deaths of pair on Meade Avenue.

MORTON GROVE, IL - The two relatives who died in separate rooms of a Morton Grove house on Wednesday died of natural causes.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office made the call after a death investigation and said it’s believed both bodies had been in the home for weeks, according to an NBC-Chicago report.

A mother, age 94 and her son, 62 lived in the residence on Meade Avenue. Police found two deceased bodies in separate rooms during a well-being check on Wednesday.

Police have yet to identify the pair as a next of kin has not been located as of Thursday at 4 p.m.
