Andreas Hogue Salon of Northbrook recently announced the appointment of eight new staff members: hairstylists Debra Zandberg, Caroline Peterson, April Lemick, and Dee Mayo; nail techs Kat Ahmadi and Mila Girshman; aesthetician Dorota Dziudzik and assistant Adriana Neolic. This comes as a part of the salon’s celebration of two years in business.
“We have had a tremendous 2 years,” says Andreas Hogue, the salon's founder and Artistic Director. “We have been so welcomed by the people in this community and we have seen great growth,” he said.
Since opening on February 9, 2011, Hogue has grown his staff by cultivating new talentand by attracting some of the area’s best stylists to his business.

“I just knew this was a place that I wanted to work,” said Erin Lepper, long-time North Shore stylist and now one of Hogue’s Design Team members. “When Andreas Hogue Salon opened, everyone in our industry paid attention,” she said “and I was lucky enough to find a home here.”
Andreas Hogue Salon has made a distinct impression in the community for it’s fresh approach to hairdressing. “This is not a sleepy salon doing the same old thing year after year,” said Hogue. “We are current and cutting edge and constantly growing and educating our people,” he said.

As a Master Artistic Educator with Matrix, Hogue is recognized internationally for his work in the hairdressing field. He travels globally teaching the latest in color and cutting techniques to the people in his industry.
“We are so lucky to have one of the nation’s best teachers leading us every day,” said Carla Makowski, Design Team member and advanced stylist forHogue.
“The energy here is palpable,” said Kristi Tarantino a regular client ofAndreas Hogue Salon, “I have been to salons in New York and L.A. and I find that right here in Northbrook is the best of the best. Every time I walk through the door, I feel energized and renewed and I always walk away looking and feeling better.”
Andreas Hogue Salon will celebrate its anniversary February 9 through 16 with salon specials and give aways. The salon is open 7 days a week and is located at 840 Willow Rdin the Willow Festival Shopping Center.
