Fire Spreads From Car to Home in Northbrook
A vehicle fire was quickly upgraded once personnel saw it was parked close to a residence.
A vehicle fire Wednesday afternoon in the 200 block of Canterbury Drive in Northbrook was upgraded to a structure fire when it damaged the home it was parked at.
Fire crews responded to the call at 3:30 p.m. and quickly extinguished the fire with minor smoke and fire damage to the nearby home, according to a village news release.
No one was injured, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
