5 Thefts, 2 Burglaries and More: Ward 4 Police Calls in September

With the help of the Oak Forest Crime Prevention Commission, Patch shares the city's calls for service for the month of September, broken down by ward.

Each week, Patch features items from reports on file at the Oak Forest Police Department. Although not all accounts are reported in the Patch police blotter, the Oak Forest Crime Prevention Committee compiles the number of calls of service monthly, by type and location.

This week, Patch gives you the rundown of what was called in and where during the month of September. See how your ward measures up. Patch will feature one ward per day over the next week. See how Ward 4 compares to Ward 1, Ward 2, Ward 3 and others throughout the week. Unsure of which ward you live in? Visit  Patch's Oak Forest 101—a quick summary of the most important facts about Oak Forest.

*Note, these statistics are gathered from the Oak Forest Police Department's Daily Call for Service Log reports.

*These indicate calls for service, not criminal crime statistics.
