Fourth Annual Candlelight Bowl to Benefit Tim Nickos Memorial Scholarship
The fourth annual event will feature three games of bowling, dinner and a cash bar March 21 at Fox Bowl.

Tim Nickos was a talented and beloved 17-year-old senior at Oak Lawn Community High School who passed away in 2011 from a heart condition.
His legacy lives on in the memories of his friends and family, and through the Tim Nickos Memorial Scholarship, which awards $2,500 to an OLCHS student for college tuition.
The scholarship is funded through the Candlelight Bowl. The fourth annual event will feature three games of bowling, dinner and a cash bar March 21 at Fox Bowl, 1101 Butterfield Road, Wheaton. Drinks, food and raffles will begin at 9 p.m., and bowling will start at 9:15 p.m.

This year’s Candlelight Bowl will also benefit Young Hearts 4 Life, a cardiac screening program that screens high school students free of charge for conditions that can cause sudden cardiac death. This type of heart screening could have saved Tim’s life, and it only takes 30 seconds.
Tickets for the Candlelight Bowl are $30 or $25 for students. See this year’s event flyer for the registration form.
