Half-Naked Man Dances for Women in Tanning Room

Oak Lawn Police said a man exposed himself to women at a local tanning spa, explaining that he was fulfilling a requirement following a lost bachelor party bet.

Half-Naked Man Dances for Women in Tanning Room

A middle-aged man recently strolled in an Oak Lawn tanning spa and performed a spin-filled, initially clothed dance during which he exposed himself to two women, police said.

A white male, around 50 years old, with short gray hair and a slim build, approached a staff member and a customer around 12:30 p.m. June 21 at the European Tanning Spa at 10842 S. Cicero Ave.

The man explained that he had lost a bet at a bachelor party and had to do a dance for a bachelorette, according to the report. Saying he wasn’t comfortable dancing in front of the spa, the women agreed to follow him into a tanning booth, said.

The customer, who was 51 years old, told police the man danced fully clothed at first, but at some point during the jig, undid his pants and became naked from the waist down. He danced closer to the customer until “he was eventually rubbing his butt against her midsection,” the report said.

Police said the man grabbed the customer’s hands and placed them around his waist, but she resisted and removed her hands. The man spun around and continued to dance, exposing himself to the women.

Both women left the tanning booth and called police. According to the customer, the man came out of the booth fully clothed, engaged them in conversation and then left, police said.

The spa staff member corroborated her customer’s story. The report did not specify how police got the man’s license plate, but officers searched the area for a gray Dodge Charger or Challenger. Police said the license plate was registered to a holdings company in Lombard. They did not find the car.

The women told officers they had never seen the man at the spa before, but could identify him if they saw him again.
