Catalytic Converter Stolen
Someone took the catalytic converter from a Chevy Cavalier parked in the 0-100 block of South Boulevard, Lot 35. The loss was estimated at $500.
Trinidad Perez, 31, of the 5000 block of W. 29th Street in Cicero, was booked on a warrant for his arrest for a previous DUI charge. Police discovered the warrant after stopping Perez for a traffic violation.
Someone cut the passenger's side tires of a Chrysler Cruiser parked in the 400 block of S. Cuyler. The property damage occurred between 10 a.m. March 3 and 8:30 a.m. March 5.
Duane R. Adams, 42, of the 800 block of Lake Street in Oak Park, was charged with phone harassment. Police said he repeatedly called someone after he was asked not to. He was released on bond and given an April 8 court date.
Man Arrested in Bank
Carl Carter, 50, of Lyons, was charged with theft. Police were called to a bank in the 1000 block of Lake Street in reference to a "suspicious homeless man." Police said Carter was in possession of a wallet and ID that was reported stolen in Lyons earlier that day. He was held in lieu of bond and given a March 29 court date.
A car was burglarized after someone entered an unlocked garage in the 700 block of Gunderson and then broke the driver's side window. The estimated loss was $250. The burglary occurred sometime between noon and 3:25 p.m.
