Robbery Arrest, Reckless Conduct, Burglary: Police Blotter
THURSDAY, AUGUST 29

Robbery Arrest

Police charged Rayshun Anderson, 17, of Chicago, with a robbery that occurred June 6 in the 800 block of Erie. He was arrested about 10 a.m., police said. 

Warrant: Probation Violation

Police charged Joseph Cunningham, 39, of Cicero, with a warrant out of Wisconsin for a probation violation about 11:46 a.m. in the 100 block of Harrison Street. 

Warrant Arrests: Reckless Conduct, Obstruction

Michael Neal, 26, and Shana Ball, 28, both of Chicago, were arrested about 12:35 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Austin Boulevard on warrants out of Chicago and River Forest. Neal was arrested on a warrant out of Chicago for reckless conduct. Ball was arrested on a warrant out of River Forest for obstruction of identification, police said. 

Laptop Stolen From Car

Someone stole a laptop from an Escalade parked in the 700 block of North Taylor Street between 11 p.m. Aug. 28 and 7:34 a.m. Aug. 29. The total estimated loss is $1,800, police said. 

Phone Charger Stolen

Someone stole a phone charger from a Prius parked in the 100 block of South Scoville Avenue between 6 p.m. Aug. 28 and 10 a.m. Aug. 29. The total estimated loss is $30, police said. 

Property Damage Arrest

Police charged Travis Dolnick, 29, of the 600 block of West Lake Street in Oak Park, with criminal damage to property in the 100 block of North Grove Avenue about 4:50 p.m. 

Trespassing Arrest

Police charged Vernon Sweezer, 53, with trespassing about 6:15 a.m. in the 100 block of Washington Boulevard. He was processed and released on bond. 

Bikes Stolen From Unlocked Garages

  • Someone stole a $500 bike from an unlocked garage in the 1100 block of South East Avenue between 11 p.m. Aug. 28 and 7 a.m. Aug. 29. 
  • Someone stole a bike, a helmet and a lock from an unlocked garage in the 700 block of South Cuyler Avenue between 6 p.m. Aug. 27 and 8 a.m. Aug. 29. The total estimated loss is $490, police said.
