Investigators recreating a vehicle accident that resulted in Heidi Roseen’s death Sunday morning believe Matthew Senica was driving over 70 mph when he struck Roseen’s car.

Senica, 25, of the 13700 block of 88thAvenue in Orland Park, is charged with felony aggravated driving under the influence.

He had been drinking in Chicago for hours before he drove south on LaGrange Road, and struck Roseen’s car at the intersection with 95th Street, according to Cook County Sheriff Spokesman Frank Bilecki.

When facing court later in the week, the judge placed a $1 million bail against him, which means he would need $100,000 to walk the streets before his trial. Senica remains in custody.

Past charges against him include reckless conduct, criminal damage to property, battery, domestic battery and a DUI.
