Orland Square Mall Announces New Stores Coming Soon Following Renovation

Orland Square Mall Announces New Stores Coming Soon Following Renovation

Orland Square Mall, one of Chicagoland’s leading fashion destinations, continues to enhance its already popular store mix with the future addition of Aveda and LUSH Cosmetics. Following the completion of the mall’s extensive renovation inclusive of a state-of-the-art food court, new children’s play area, updated restrooms and luxurious new amenities throughout, Orland Square offers visitors a more enhanced shopping experience strengthened by a great mix of new retailers and existing store renovations and mall relocations.

“Orland Square continues to attract some of the most popular names in retail and we’re excited to welcome these new tenants” said David Huesser, Orland Square Mall Manager. “Following the completion of our successful renovation, Orland Square Mall is at its best with new retailers and dining options, plus more exciting tenants to come in 2014.”

Aveda, the well-known manufacturers and distributors of cosmetic products that use plant-derived ingredients, will begin welcoming shoppers this spring in the upper level jcpenney Court. Specializing in hair care and plant-based skin care, makeup, pure-fume™ and aroma products, Aveda offers shoppers the natural products and services they seek in a relaxing, modern setting.

LUSH Cosmetics, the maker of fresh, handmade cosmetics, will be opening this spring on the upper level near Macy’s. With a complete range of vegetarian products that includes bath and body care, skincare, hair care and perfume, everything is made from the finest fresh fruits and vegetables and essential oils. No products are tested on animals and both packaging and preservatives are kept to a minimum. LUSH is the place to visit for effective and environmentally-friendly gifts and products that pamper.

Following the completion of its much anticipated renovation, Orland Square Mall has also welcomed numerous other new retailers. AKIRA, a popular Chicagoland area clothing boutique offering shoppers distinct and on-trend clothing and accessories, opened its first location in the Orland Park area this past fall in the lower level Macy’s Court near A|X Armani Exchange. Vera Bradley, a preppy, classic retailer specializing in handbags, accessories, luggage and gift items opened in the lower level Macy’s Court next to Victoria’s Secret. Lovesac, an international retailer of alternative furniture, making washable, changeable, comfortable and durable furniture for TV rooms, is now open in the lower level Macy’s Court across from The Cheesecake Factory. White Barn Candle Co. is also now open in the lower level Macy’s Court next to the Food Court.

In addition to the new retail offerings, Orland Square Mall welcomed two new dining options to the newly designed food court, Chickwich at Fresh Market Grill, which offers shoppers the best chicken experience possible serving up hand breaded nuggets, tenders and sandwiches, and Zoup!, a popular favorite serving up a delicious mix of award-winning soups, salads and sandwiches.

Additionally, many of Orland Square Mall’s existing retailers and dining options have undergone exciting changes in the wake of the center-wide renovation. LOFT has relocated to the lower level Sears Court. Helzberg Diamonds has remodeled its existing store located on the lower level Center Court. Build-A-Bear and Eddie Bauer have unveiled new concept stores in their new locations, both on the lower level Sears Court, while Victoria’s Secret’s new concept store is now open on the lower level Macy’s Court across from the food court. Shoppers are also enjoying the welcome changes to the mall’s food court, which also includes the expansion of popular eateries like Taco Bell, Panda Express, Schopp’s Hambugers and Sarku Japan.

In addition to all the new shopping and dining available at Orland Square Mall, shoppers can also take advantage of a new child’s play area on the lower level jcpenney Court, a new family lounge with a nursing lounge, and soft seating areas with convenient cell phone charging stations throughout the property.
