Book Lovers Unite: Oswego Literary Festival Set for Oct. 1
40 local authors will be in attendance.

OSWEGO, IL — The Oswego Literary Festival is coming up soon for book lovers.
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 1, readers can enjoy live music, children’s activities, presentations, author signings and more.
This is the festival’s fifth year and hundreds of people are expected to attend the one-day event, said Oswego Community Relations Manager Michele Brown.

“It’s a great opportunity to learn about local authors, learn about the library and get the community out in our downtown,” Brown said.
While no big name authors will be in attendance, 40 local authors will make an appearance.

The event will be held at the Oswego Public Library District at 32 West Jefferson Street in Oswego.
