National Weather Service: Dense Fog Advisory in Effect

The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for Kendall County that will remain in effect until 12:00 p.m.

Dense fog will continue throughout the morning with gradual improvement in conditions beginning late in the  morning, although some areas may not see improvement until early afternoon.

Widespread visibility is less than one quarter of a mile this morning and many areas have extremely dense fog with a couple hundred feet at best visibility.

Be sure to use your fog lights, or head lights if not available, while driving to both alert fellow drivers and to help you see.
