Sheriff's Blotter: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Zero Tolerance and Assault

Saturday, Nov. 24

Illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, zero tolerance

Keith E. Olsen, 20, of the 5200 block of Coneflower, Naperville, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. at Routes 30 and 34 and charged with the illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and zero tolerance, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

DUI

Amber L. Barrier, 26, of the 600 block of Lincoln Station Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 2:22 a.m. at Routes 30 and 34 and charged with driving under the influence, said the Kendall County Sheriff's office. She was also cited for illegal lane usage, failure to signal and no proof of insurance. 

Friday, Nov. 23

Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia

Deon Brady, 21, of the 0-99 block of Scarsdale, Montgomery, was arrested at 8:07 p.m. at Winrock and Braeburn, Montgomery, and charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. He was also cited for disobeying a stop sign and driving without a valid license.

Thursday, Nov. 22

No valid driver’s license

Robert John Sharpenter, 72, of the 1000 block of Route 30, Aurora, was arrested at 1:16 a.m. at Harvey and Route 30 and charged with driving without a valid license, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. He was also cited for improper lane usage.

Speeding, suspended license

Matthew Robert Slepicka, 18, of the 300 block of Jackson Street, Yorkville, was arrested at 1:28 a.m. at Route 34 and Countryside Parkway and charged with speeding 60 in a 45 mph zone, passing in a no-passing zone, failure to signal and driving with a  suspended license, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

Monday, Nov. 19

Hit and run

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported hit and run that occurred at 4:28 p.m. at Harvey and Route 30. The victim reported their vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle that left the scene. The incident is under investigation.

Sunday, Nov. 18

Battery

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported fight in progress that occurred at 11:15 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Bereman. One subject had left the scene prior to the deputies arrival, but was located shortly after. Deputies said the subjects appeared battered, but declined to sign complain forms pressing charges for battery.

Assault, criminal damage to property

Randall Anthony Massiah, 30, of the 7500 block of Galena Road, Bristol, was arrested at 5:15 p.m. at his residence and charged with assault and criminal damage to property, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Deputies had responded to a domestic dispute and found Massiah had assaulted a woman and broke an item in the house valued at $75. 

Saturday, Nov. 17

In-state warrant

Jessica D. Sucilla, 27, of the 2500 block of Robert Lane, Montgomery, was arrested at 9:22 a.m. at Bristol Ridge Road and Plum Street and charged with an in-state warrant out of Kendall County for driving with a suspended license, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Sucilla had originally been stopped for speeding.

Interfering with reporting of domestic violence

Michael David Bryant, 41, of the 100 block of Harbor, Oswego, was arrested at 8:51 p.m. at his residence and charged with interfering in the reporting of a domestic battery, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. He was also arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Kane County.

Friday, Nov. 16

In-state warrant

Justin Francis Johnson, 25, of the 0-99 block of Timberlake Trail, Oswego, was arrested at 4:43 a.m. at his residence and charged with an in-state warrant out of the Aurora Police Department for theft, said the Kendall County Sheriff's office.
