Body of Arlington Heights Man Found in Southern Wisconsin Lake

A 49-year-old Arlington Heights man was found dead in Delevan Lake, which is located in southern Wisconsin, Thursday morning, the Daily Herald reports.

Scott Apel was out on a boat with co-workers at about 11 p.m. Wednesday when the group decided to go for a swim, according to the article. During the swim, Apel went under and his group could not find him.

Apel’s body was found at about 9 a.m. Thursday in 38 feet of water where the group had said they last saw him, according to the Walworth County Today.

Delevan Lake is located about 10 miles northwest of Lake Geneva.
