A Cary resident is one of the Illinois Lottery’s most recent multi-millionaires, came forward to claim his winnings this week.

Illinois Lottery representatives will present this lucky lottery player with an oversized ceremonial check for $3.25 million at noon on Monday, Sept. 24, at Mr. A’s Liquor World in Palatine at 855 N. The store clerk at Mr. A’s Liquor World who sold the winning ticket said the Cary man is a regular customer who purchases about one lottery ticket a week. The $1 computer generated Quick Pick ticket matched all six numbers from the Illinois Lottery’s Sept. 8 drawing.
