Golf Nation in Palatine is Closing

Golf Nation, a year-round golf club located at 399 N. Quentin Road in Palatine, is expected to close at the end of this month, according to the Daily Herald.

While the golf club was popular in its first year of business in 2008, attracting over 500 members, “a challenging economy and cutbacks by consumers on discretionary spending” lead to struggles for the business, according to the article.

The facility included a golf driving range, indoor golfing, virtual golf, golf simulators, golf lessons and private golf. Golf Nation’s final day is Sept. 30.
