Palatine Park District presents the 25th Anniversary Season of the Sounds of Summer Concert Series with an all-new lineup selected by our loyal audience. All performances are FREE, so pack a picnic, pull up a lawn chair, and enjoy your summer evenings at the Fred P. Hall Amphitheater, 262 E. Palatine Road. Performances begin at 8:00 pm and run approximately 90 minutes.

Friday, June 15, American English — Relive the days of the Beatles! Using identical instruments the legendary group used, this Palatine favorite has an uncanny ability to reproduce the vocal style and harmonies of the Beatles. Not only will they bring back memories for those who were there, but they bring to life the sounds for those who never had achance to hear it live.

What would happen if the characters from the PBS show Sesame Street grew up and went a little wild? That’s the premise behind  Avenue Q, a Tony Award-winning musical coming to Palatine's .

From June 2 to 17,  Music on Stage will present the Chicagoland premiere of Avenue Q, a comedy intended for adult audiences that features the use of puppets by the actors. The musical tells the story of Princeton, a recent college graduate who moves to New York and meets several colorful characters along the way. ()
