Luggage Thief Packs Razors, Travels Past Walmart Cashiers: Prosecutor
Gary, Indiana man filled stolen piece of luggage with stole merchandise, prosecutor said.

CRESTWOOD, IL -- A Gary, Indiana man packed a stolen piece of luggage with razor cartridges and carried it past Walmart cashiers without paying, prosecutors said in court Monday.
Police responded to the Walmart store at 47000 W. 135th St., Crestwood, for a report of retail theft around 10:38 p.m. July 31.
Joseph Trembinski, 30, was observed filling a piece of luggage he grabbed from the store with over $300 worth of razor cartridges. He was confronted by loss-prevention agents outside the store.

He has another misdemeanor charge for retail theft earlier this year, according to court records.
The assistant public defender told the judge that Trembinski attended Purdue University where he studied engineering.

Bail was set at $15,000. Trembinski is due back in court Aug. 24 in Bridgeview.
