Scuffle Ends in Stabbing, Aggravated Battery Charge for Burbank Man
An argument went awry Feb. 16 when a Burbank man reached into a drawer and pulled a knife on another man, according to police.

Michael Furlano, 47, began sparring with a victim over the treatment of another person in a house on the 10400 block of 81st Court. The two took the fight to the front lawn, before calling a truce and going back inside. Once indoors, Furlano reached into the drawer, grabbed the knife and stabbed the victim twice in the torso, according to Palos Hills police.

Furlano then fled the scene, and officers found him in the garage.

The victim was taken to an area hospital, and Furlano was charged with Aggravated Battery, Great Bodily Harm.

He was transported to 26th and California for a bond hearing.
