Body of 50-Year-Old Man Found in Bolingbrook is Identified: Coroner
A positive I.D. has been made on the deceased body found in Bolingbrook on Tuesday.

The body—found near a frozen pond by a land surveyor on the vacant lot in the 1000 block of Windham Parkway—is that of a 50-year-old Geneva man, Jeffrey Talley, said Will County Coroner Patrick K. O'Neil.

He said positive identification was confirmed using tattoo comparison and hospital I.D. bands.

"An autopsy showed signs of cold exposure, but the final cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date pending police, toxicological and autopsy reports," O'Neil said.

Geneva police asked for the public's help finding Talley on Nov. 26. According to media reports, he left Bolingbrook Adventist Hospital on foot against the advice of doctors. He was last seen around 6 p.m. on Nov. 10 at Remington Boulevard and Veterans Parkway in Bolingbrook.

Bolingbrook police are investigating.

O'Neil said Elements Cremation is handling funeral arrangements.
