Valley View Sophomore Headed to Future Leaders Conference

Kristina Colletti will attend the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders this summer.

Bolingbrook High School sophomore Kristina Colletti has been selected to serve as a delegate at this summer’s Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Colletti, who was nominated for the honor by Nobel Prize winner Dr. John C. Mather based on her academic achievement, leadership potential and passion for science and technology, will join students from around the country at the three day event which will feature Nobel Laureates and National Medal of Science recipients.

“This is a crucial time in America when we need more nimble-minded and creative scientists and technologists who are even better prepared for a future that is changing exponentially,” said Richard Rossi, executive director of the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists. “Focused, bright and determined students like Kristina are our future, and she deserves all the mentoring and guidance we can give her.”
