Dead Body Found in Burning Car Over Weekend
Police and fire crews found a deceased person in the driver's seat of a car that was on fire Saturday on Lawler Avenue in Skokie.

SKOKIE, IL - A person’s deceased body was found in a car that was on fire in Skokie on Saturday.
Police and fire crews responded to the vehicle fire in the 9100 block of Lawler Avenue at 5:24 p.m. and found an individual deceased in the driver’s seat after the flames were extinguished.
The Skokie Police Department is currently working with the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office on a death investigation.
