Arden K. Miner has been
promoted to president of ATG LegalServe, Inc., a subsidiary of the
Guaranty Fund, Inc. (ATG®,
formed in 2009 as a process service company and a full-service litigation
As president, Miner will be responsible for overseeing the management of day-to-day operations, as well as carrying out the directions of the ATG LegalServe board of directors.
“Arden is the perfect leader to help us define our overall corporate mission, evaluate our current services, develop new directions, and ensure the proper resources are in place to achieve our company's goals,” said attorney Aurora Austriaco, chair of the ATG LegalServe board.
Miner worked as an attorney in the ATG legal and underwriting departments from 2001 to 2004, when she was promoted to senior manager of the underwriting and escrow departments. Until joining ATG LegalServe in early 2012, she was responsible for preparing underwriting guidelines and procedures, assisting members with title clearance and underwriting questions, issuing commitments, and overseeing construction escrows, tax payments and title indemnities for ATG.
She holds a J.D. from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management, a B.S. in psychology from Loyola University of Chicago, and a teaching certificate from Northeastern University.
Miner is a former member of the board of directors of the Illinois Land Title Association, a current member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association (CBA). She is also a past chair for the CBA Real Property Law Committee and current vice chair of the UPL and Multi-Disciplinary Law Committees. She has been a frequent speaker for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education and ATG Legal Education seminars. Miner resides in Lincolnwood, Ill.
