Successful mental health fundraiser in Skokie featured Jessie Close as guest speaker

Mental health advocate Jessie Close encouraged people to change how they talk and think about mental illness at No Shame on U's 2nd Annual Event on November 6 in Skokie, Illinois.
"Shame is a powerful emotion," said Close. "I encourage anyone with mental illness holding on to shame to let it go, like a helium balloon, and you are free."
