3 Killed When Car Flips, Catches Fire On Southeast Side
Three people were killed after a car moving at a high rate of speed crashed into a light pole on East 100th Street early Friday morning.

CHICAGO, IL - Three people were killed after a vehicle struck a pole, flipped over and caught fire on the Southeast Side of the city early Friday morning. Chicago police say the driver of a 2016 Chevy sedan was traveling westbound in the 3300 block of East 100th Street at a high rate of speed when the car struck a light pole.
All three occupants of the Chevy were pronounced dead at the scene around 1:10 a.m. Two remained unidentified as of 11:30 a.m. and the next of kin for the lone victim who was identified has not been notified, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
The Chicago Tribune acquired a video from someone who was at the scene shortly after the car caught fire.
