Car Fire Blocks Traffic On Dan Ryan
Three local lanes of inbound traffic are closed near Roosevelt Road due to a car fire.
CHICAGO, IL - A car that caught fire on the inbound Dan Ryan Expressway has traffic backed up heading into downtown during the Tuesday morning rush hour.
The car caught fire near Roosevelt Road and has blocked the right three lanes. This only affects the "Local" lanes of traffic, according to a WGN-TV Traffic report.
One lane of outbound traffic is also closed because water used to put out the fire caused the lane to freeze, according to WBBM Traffic.
