Man Shot Six Times Outside Southwest Side Courthouse
The 22-year-old victim was critcally wounded by gunfire as he entered the Leighton Criminal Court Building on Monday.

CHICAGO, IL — A 22-year-old was shot Monday morning as he was walking into a Southwest Side courthouse, Fox 32 Chicago reports.
The shooting happened at about 9:30 a.m. Monday, March 20, the report stated. The victim was entering the Leighton Criminal Court Building in the Little Village neighborhood when the man was hit by gunfire, the report added.
The victim was hit six times in the groin area, according to Fox 32. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and in critical condition, the report added.

Two off-duty police officers witnessed the shooting and arrested a suspect, according to the Chicago Tribune. Police also told the Tribune that a gun was recovered.
