School Bus Catches Fire on South Side
A few students were on a field trip when the bus burst into flames near 14th and Ashland.
CHICAGO, IL - All students are safe after a school bus transporting a few kids on a field trip on the South Side caught fire Friday morning.
The engine of the bus burst into flames around on Ashland Avenue near 14th Street, according to WGN. Witnesses say a bus aide helped ensure the safety of all students on board.
Firefighters were on scene quickly and put out the flames.
