Tinley Park High School proudly announces their Spring play, “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” This comedy is about six young students competing in a spelling bee championship. The show will be presented on April 25, 26 and 27 in the school’s Audion. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the door or in advance from any cast member.
Over 40 students are involved with making the play a success! Cast members include: Eric Deasy as Chip Tolentino; Bobby Mathius and Eddie Etayem as Leaf Coney Bear; Molly Brennan and Val Triolo as Logainne Scwartz and Grubenierre; Marissa Politano and Sarah Triolo as Olive Ostrovsky; Ken Potocki and Brian Munoz as William Barfee; Gianna Fabiano and Magaly Degollado as Marcy Park; Morghan Schnell and Annie Amann as Rona Lisa Peretti; Kerri Fitzgibbons and Morgan Crowley as Mitch Mahoney; Jonathan Cascone as Douglas Panch; Gavonta Gage as Carl Grubenierre; Gianni Hamilton as Dan Schwartz; Mateo Sallade as Leaf’s Dad; Gina Martin and Kaleigh Urban as Leaf’s Mom; Jeff Lyon as Olive’s Mom and Dad; and Claudia Chayer and Aislinn Swillum as Jesus Christ. The Stage Managers and Student Directors are Tina Sanchez, Olivia Crowley and Abby Simon. Crishona Edwards, Kayla Simental, Sarah Marsewski and Destiny Barriga have been working on the set, while Michael Jankun has been perfecting the sound components. The Ensemble is made up of Katrese Allen, Sherelyn Saceda, Jenna Kurecki, Jessica Ford, Krystal Nelson, Anthony Defries, Jess Wilson and Namara Swillum. Finally, the choreographers are Amanda Wetzel and Christina Robertson.
