Wheaton Ranked Among the Best Suburbs in the State to Live

WHEATON, IL - Wheaton has been ranked among the best suburbs in the state to live, according to recently released Niche.com rankings.

Niche.com created its 2016 Best Suburbs in Illinois list by comparing data on crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities, and local amenities for suburban towns in Illinois. Wheaton was ranked at No. 14 on the list while Naperville was ranked as the best suburb in the state.

In selecting Wheaton, Niche.com wrote: "Wheaton is a suburb in Illinois with 53,406 residents. It has very high home values, high rent costs, and average unemployment levels. Its citizens generally have high education levels and high income levels."

Nearby Glen Ellyn was ranked as the 37th best suburb in the state.
