Cyclist Drops Pants Over Being Honked At: Police

RETAIL THEFT

Zenia Gamex, 39, of the 6000 block of West Nelson Street, Chicago, was arrested and charged with retail theft after being accused in an Aug. 26 incident in the 3200 Lake Avenue.

Gamex allegedly stole 14 clothing items from Carson's, 3200 Lake Ave., according to police. The estimated value of the clothing was $391.

Police received a report of a cyclist who got cheeky with a motorist Aug. 26.

At about 8:43 p.m. near Park and Wilmette avenues, a driver honked at someone riding a bicycle. The biker then pulled down his shorts in response.

Police were unable to find the cyclist, according to the report.

PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Two men were given parental responsibility citations in connection with separate incidents Aug. 27.

George Robb, 57, of the 3000 block of Iroquois Road, was cited after neighbors told police minors under his supervision were publicly intoxicated.

William Laros, 51, of the 400 block of Maple Avenue, was cited after police recieved a report of a highly intoxicated juvenile throwing up on the parkway. The minor was taken to the hospital.
