July 15-21, 2012 was the annual National Probation, Parole, and Community Supervision Week. Each year during this week, Kendall County Probation employees are celebrated for the outstanding work they do in the areas of promoting public safety, advocating for clients, brokering treatment referrals, monitoring and reporting to the Court as it relates to the supervision of individuals sentenced to Probation and Court Supervision.
During this year’s celebration, in addition to performing their regular duties, Kendall County Probation employees partnered with the to raise needed product donations. The initiative was led by Probation Officer Jennifer Ostrom (pictured on left with Kendall County Food Pantry Executive Director Maria Spaeth, on right) who was assisted by the dedication of the other Probation staff. The amount of donations more than filled the trunk of a car.
“I am very proud of the staff of Kendall County Probation for the work they do and their willingness to give back to the community” said Tina Varney, Director of Probation for Kendall County.
The success of this initiative would not have been possible without the generous contributions from numerous other Kendall County Departments. The Kendall County Department of Probation and Court Services would like to express sincere thanks to all of the County departments and individuals who helped make the drive a success.
