The is an organization devoted to helping out people that are unfortunate. The student council members at Yorkville Intermediate School started a toilet paper drive for the Food Pantry upon hearing that toilet paper is one of the most needed items at the Pantry.

In addition to collecting toilet paper for the Pantry, these hard-working students carried all of the toilet paper to the Pantry on Monday, April 30th. While at the Food Pantry, these students toured the Pantry, after working vigorously to help package the toilet paper. On the tour, they saw wide varieties of food and supplies that are offered to the families that are in need, as well as realizing how amazing the Pantry’s volunteers’ work is and how much the Food Pantry helps families.

During these students’ time at the Pantry, they developed an appreciation for the good cause that the Pantry is, and how much work the volunteers do. Going to the Pantry was a wonderful experience for these students, teaching them the importance of appreciating all that they have and to always try to help those who don’t have as much as they do. They’d like to thank their teachers for this experience, the amazing volunteers, all students who donated to the Food Pantry, and to urge you to help in any way you can too.
