National Boots on the Ground Day Photo/Video Challenge™ 2026 Nationwide Celebration Honoring Black Cowboy Culture, Unity, Style, and Artistic Expression!National Multi-Day Celebration to Run May 25–May 31, 2026, with Official Celebratory Observance #BOTGDAY #bootsonthegrounddayNational Boots on the Ground Day™ is officially returning for its 2026 national observance with an expanded multi-day celebration honoring Black cowboy culture, unity, fashion, artistic expression, and community pride. Founded by American activist and author Dr. Greshun De Bouse, National Boots on the Ground Day™ continues to grow as a nationally recognized cultural observance celebrating the symbolism, influence, and evolving cultural impact of National Boots on the Ground Day™ within Black culture and beyond. The 2026 celebration will run from May 25 through May 31, 2026, with the official celebratory observance taking place annually on May 27. Founded in 2022 and publicly introduced in 2023, National Boots on the Ground Day™ was established by De Bouse to commemorate the first known Black Rodeo in the United States held on May 27, 1903, while also promoting unity, positivity, visibility, and cultural celebration through cowboy culture, line dance, music, fashion, and community engagement. This year’s nationwide campaign places special emphasis on: * Black unity in cowboy culture* Community organizations and cultural representation* Individual and Group participation and creative expression* Western-inspired fashion and themed attire* Photography, dance culture, and visual storytelling As part of the 2026 observance, National Boots on the Ground Day™ will host its official nationwide National Boots on the Ground Day Photo/Video Challenge™, inviting organizations, social groups, and community-based teams across the country to showcase their most creative and visually striking “Boots on the Ground” themed group photo submissions. The winning organization will receive: * $500&nbsp;* Recognition as an Honorary Guest Organization for National Boots on the Ground Day™ 2027* Opportunity to meet the Founder, Greshun De Bouse* Featured recognition across official National Boots on the Ground Day™ promotional platforms The nationwide celebration is sponsored by First Move Life Coaching LLC.
