Missing Maine Woman: Police Ask Public's Help

MEDFORD, ME — Maine authorities are continuing to search for a missing Medford woman last seen on Halloween. Diane Estey, 71, of Medford, is 5 feet, 2 inches and 95 pounds.

State police, game wardens, and the Piscataquis County Sheriff's Office have been searching for Estey, who is believed to have left her Medford Center Road residence on foot sometime November 2. The last time she was seen was October 31, authorities said.

"There has been no sign of (her)," state police said in a statement. "Police are continuing to ask the public for help in locating her."

The Estey family released this statement:

"The Estey family wish to thank all those who came forward to help in this exhaustive search effort. The Estey family has been overwhelmed at the tremendous outpouring of support from both local people and those from far away."
