Vehicle Fire Shuts Down Interstate 95 Near Aberdeen
Authorities said I-95 north was temporarily closed after truck fire, fuel spill near MD 22 exit.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A vehicle fire snarled traffic on Interstate 95 north near Aberdeen Thursday afternoon for several hours.
Before noon, a truck caught fire and spilled fuel on I-95, drawing fire and hazmat personnel, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
Due to the response, I-95 north was temporarily closed before the exit for MD 22 for emergency personnel and cleanup efforts, and lanes gradually reopened as the afternoon progressed.

I-95 north is totally shut down at the exit for MD 22 in Aberdeen. The vehicle fire broke out before noon and after noon, traffic was being held for northbound travelers.
