Have you ever wondered what sales were going on at the ? Or have you wanted to compare prices without going store to store?

How about trying to remember where you parked your car?

A recent upgrade to the mall's free iPhone app allows users to do just that.

“We had such an enthusiastic response to the original version of the Westfield App,” Alan Cohen, executive vice president of Marketing, said in a press release. “After studying the feedback of hundreds of thousands of our shoppers, we found that the majority wanted two things: to get around the mall easier and to save money. Westfield App v2.0 accomplishes both of these things.”

The Westfield App v2.0 is available on iTunes and has five different screens that users can toggle between.

There is a mall map that gives users turn-by-turn directions and an alphabetical directory.

The app includes a menu button that allows users to purchase movie tickets, look up special events, make dining reservations and even check up on Westfield Annapolis' Twitter stream.

The menu button is also where people leave a GPS marker for their car, or snap a quick picture of where they parked. The offers button shows what sales are going on at stores around the mall. And the concierge button is a voice-command system that answers questions like "Where can I buy a gift card?"

The first iteration of the app launched in August 2011, and Cohen said the timing of the update was somewhat deliberate.

“We are expecting a busy back-to-school shopping season, and the new Westfield App will make it easy for busy moms and dads to make the most of their time and money when visiting Westfield shopping centers,” Cohen said in the release.

The app is only available for the iPhone, but an Android version is planned to launch this September.
