Navy's Blue Angel Pilot Snaps Epic Selfie

The Twitter-verse is amazed by a gravity-defying selfie posted by one of the pilots of the Navy's Blue Angels.

Lt. Commander Nate Barton snapped a self-portrait with his phone Tuesday midair above the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis. And everyone is sharing it.

Barton flies the left-wing position with the Angels at air shows, says USA Today.

"#BlueAngels are ready to fire it up over @NavalAcademy #upsidedown!" he tweeted as he soared over Annapolis.

As part of the academy's commissioning week events, the Navy’s flight demonstration squad, the Blue Angels, world-renowned for its aerial displays, performed at the Naval Academy on Wednesday and practiced over Annapolis on Tuesday, when Barton snapped his epic selfie.
