Police Searching for Vehicle That Hit Pedestrian and Fled

A burgundy Dodge Charger with a missing passenger side mirror is believed to be the suspect vehicle in a weekend hit and run.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department is still on the hunt for the vehicle believed to be responsible for striking a pedestrian in a hit and run accident.

Officers responded to a call at 2:10 a.m. Sunday at Belle Grove Road and the Interstate 895 overpass. A man was walking along Belle Grove Road when his right arm was struck by a passing vehicle. He did not suffer a life-threatening injury, but he was taken to by the ambulance the University of Maryland Hospital.

Police are still searching for the vehicle. They believe the car that fled the scene was a burgundy Dodge Charger with a missing side mirror on the passenger side of the car.
