Severn Driver, Teen Critically Injured in Crash After Fleeing 7-Eleven
A Severn man and his passenger, an 18-year-old Pasadena woman, were both critically hurt when the driver fled police early Saturday.

Pasadena, MD — A car that sped away from a 7-Eleven store and eluded police crashed and critically injured a Severn man and a Pasadena teenager, officials say.
Anne Arundel County Police officers on patrol near the 7-Eleven store at 2900 Mountain Road in Pasadena about 2 a.m. Saturday saw a woman run from the store and jump into a Chevrolet Cobalt. When officers tried to stop the car the driver sped away and officers lost sight of the vehicle near MD-648 and Mountain Road in Sun Valley.
A few minutes later, an officer on Aquahart Road saw the speeding vehicle pass him going eastbound and then crash across Ritchie Highway (MD-2). The Chevy left the road and vaulted into a telephone pole before coming to rest in a yard on Fitzallen Road.
