GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Glen Burnie teenager is wanted by police for allegedly stabbing a 10-year-old girl to death and injuring a second teenaged family member. Anne Arundel County Police call Andres Rafael Quintana Garcia, 18, of the 6400 block of Roots Drive, a dangerous and wanted criminal.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Garcia, charging him with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment in the girl's death. Police have not released the names of the two victims yet.
The victims and suspect are family members and this was obviously not a random act, said police spokesman Lt. Ryan Frashure. "This was a family argument inside the house that quickly escalated from verbal to physical, to deadly."
