The following was submitted to Patch from Robin Small, an administrator at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.

If you are interested in adopting one of the pets listed, please visit animal control located at 411 Maxwell Frye Rd. in Millersville.

Zeus

Zeus is an approximately 5-month-old neutered domestic medium-haired male that was adopted from the shelter and returned shortly after because his new owner was being deployed. He is a friendly and playful young cat that appears to get along with other cats.  His favorite toys include jingle balls and faux fur mice. If you are interested in Zeus please come meet him at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.

Miss Daisy

Miss Daisy is an approximately 11-year-old blind spayed female domestic short hair. She was found in early December in the Davidsonville area but so far no owners have come forward looking for her. While out on her own Miss Daisy had a traumatic encounter with a dog but luckily she didn't appear to be injured during the incident. She is a friendly, calm and quiet special needs cat. If you have room in your heart and your home to let this sweet special needs senior cat live out her life please come meet her at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.

Sapphire & Samoa

Sapphire and Samoa are both approximately 1-year-old female domestic short hairs. They were surrendered to the shelter because the grandchild in the home was allergic to them. They have lived with dogs and done well. They are a little shy at first here in the shelter but they are warming up quickly. Once they warm up they are both sweet and affectionate.  While the staff and volunteers would love to see them go home together it is not a requirement.  If you are interested in Sapphire, Samoa or both please stop by Anne Arundel County Animal Control.
