The following was submitted to Patch from Robin Small, an administrator at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.

If you are interested in adopting one of the pets listed, please visit Animal Control located at 411 Maxwell Frye Rd. in Millersville.

Anabelle

Anabelle is an approximately 6-and-a-half-year-old female domestic long haired. She was found in the Hanover area earlier in February, and so far no one has come to reclaim her. This beautiful cat has been friendly since the day she arrived at the shelter. She is searching for either her original owners or a new home to call her own. If you are interested in Anabelle please come meet her at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.

Fluffy

Fluffy is an approximately 5-year-old spayed female Maine Coon cat. She, and two other cats, were surrendered to the shelter earlier in February because their previous owner lost their home. According to her previous owner Fluffy is a litter trained indoor only cat. She has lived with other cats and done well. She enjoys playing with balls of paper. She is friendly, playful and calm. If you are interested in Fluffy please come meet her at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.

Bubba

Bubba is an approximately 8-year-old neutered male domestic short haired. He was recently returned to the shelter because he played too rough with the other animals in the home. Bubba is an exuberant cat that would do best in a home without other small pets. He is looking for a home where his family will enjoy his playful personality. If you are interested in Bubba please stop by Anne Arundel County Animal Control to meet him.

Rats

The rat pictures is one of several rats available for adoption at Anne Arundel County Animal Control. The rats vary in ages, sizes, colors and breeds. All the rats will be spayed/neutered by Animal Control to prevent reproduction.  Rat adopters must pass an adoption screening. Once adopters have passed the screening there is no fee for a rat adoption. Rats can be very loving companion animals and interested adopters are encouraged to come check out the available rats at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.
