Fire Damages Two Cars, Two Homes In Chestnut Hill Cove: Officials
Two vehicles were destroyed, a home is uninhabitable and a neighboring house damaged after a fire broke out Nov. 39 in Chestnut Hill Cove.
CHESTNUT HILL COVE, MD — More than 30 firefighters responded to a Nov. 29 fire that broke out at 12:34 a.m. in the 400 block of Carvel Beach Rd. in Chestnut Hill Cove. It took them approximately half an hour to reign in the blaze that consumed a home and two cars. Firefighters first on the scene reported heavy fire at the front of the one-story ranch and fire fully engulfing two cars out front. The fire also had begun to spread to a neighbor's home.
The Anne Arundel Fire Department reported that the home is uninhabitable, the two vehicles were destroyed and the neighboring home sustained damage. Three adults have since been displaced. The cause of the fire is being investigation by members of the Anne Arundel County Fire and Explosives Investigation Unit.
