UPDATE (Wednesday, 9:18 a.m.)—Four people were displaced by a two-alarm fire at a home in the Lake Shore section of Pasadena on Tuesday.

Keith Swindle, a division chief spokesman for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, said firefighters responded at about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday to the fire at the 100 block of Kentucky Avenue.

It took about 45 minutes for firefighters to get the blaze under control.

Three adults and one child were displaced by the fire, though there were no reports of injuries and the family did not require Red Cross assistance.

Swindle said the fire caused about $250,000 in damage. The cause is under investigation.
