Firefighters Remove Possible Grenade in Pasadena

Police and firefighters from Anne Arundel County responded to disarm a possible grenade found in Pasadena on Sunday.

Capt. Mike Pfaltzgraff of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said units responded at about 12:30 p.m. to a report of a suspicious package at the 200 block of 12th Street in Pasadena. Firefighters from the county and Annapolis City removed the device and rendered it safe, Pfaltzgraff said.

An investigation into the exact nature of the device and its origins is ongoing, he said.
