The following is based on information provided by Baltimore County Fire Department.

Police Blotter: Burglaries in the Area

Sept. 17: At some time since Aug. 31, an unknown person broke the back window to gain entry to a residence on the 4100 block of McDowell Ln. in Baltimore Highlands and ate a pizza and drank two Powerades from the victim's kitchen.

Sept. 17: At some time since Sept. 9, an unknown person forced open the front door of the office/snack bar at Wynnewood Recreation Center on the 5700 block of Oakland Rd. in Arbutus and took four portable radios. Two glass windows of a storage building were also broken, but entry does not appear to have been gained into the building.

Sept. 17: At some point since Sept. 12, an unknown person went into a garage on the 4800 block of Ruby Ave. in Arbutus and took four lacrosse sticks and three lacrosse stick heads.

Sept. 17: Between noon and 6 p.m., an unknown person entered a residence on the 1800 block of Arbutus Ave. in Halethorpe and took a video game system and one video game. A basement window of the residence may have been left unlocked.

Sept. 18: Between 12:30-6:20 a.m., an unknown person broke the door handle to gain entry to a garage on the 1100 block of Elm Ridge Ave. in Arbutus and took a motorcycle valued at $2,500.

Sept. 19: Between 9-11:45 p.m., an unknown person entered the yard of a residence on the 5100 block of Arbutus Ave. in Arbutus and took a gas-powered generator.

Sept. 20: Between 7:05 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., an unknown person broke into a residence on the 2800 block of Illinois Ave. in Baltimore Highlands and took a video game system, two laptop computers, jewelry and perfume.

Sept. 21: Between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., an unknown person broke into a residence on the 3000 block of Maryland Ave. in Baltimore Highlands and took a video game system and games, laptop computer, DVDs and jewelry.
