1 Injured When Train Hits Tractor-Trailers In Baltimore County
Baltimore County fire officials said a CSX train hit the trucks near the 7500 block of Lake Drive.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — At least one person was injured Wednesday when a train collided with two tractor-trailers at a Baltimore County crossing, authorities said.
The Baltimore County Fire Department said crews were called to the 7500 block of Lake Drive after a CSX train hit the tractor-trailers. The driver of one of the trucks was taken to the hospital with injuries, officials said.
The collision prompted authorities to close the nearby tracks. Hazmat crews are also on scene, authorities said.

It's unclear what led to the collision or why the tractor-trailers were on the tracks.
CSX released the following statement to CBS Baltimore:

"CSX staff are on scene and cooperating with the local police, who are investigating the incident. CSX appreciates the swift response by local emergency personnel," the statement read. "At CSX, safety is our highest priority in the communities we serve. We remind the public to always practice safe behavior when approaching highway-rail grade crossings and that any activity on or near a rail line can be dangerous."
